Abstract: Predictions of new long-term scientific ideas for the future, including new concepts, new hypotheses, new theories, etc., obtained by ideometric calculations based on existing scientific ideas. The new ideas will appear in the following text in small capitals. This article follows the « Introduction to Ideometric Mathematics » (Agorathèque, Jan. 28, 2016) and considers an entirely new research area: deities obtained through the calculation of ideas.
The global brain currently forming on our planet is thought to be a new type of deity, one that is strange yet completely familiar. The question is whether we can interact with it. Let us talk about mathematics. According to physical cosmology, the universe began with a « big bang » made possible by a mathematical singularity, a type of almost fictitious event involving a mother deity, with mankind as the offspring. This mother deity is expected to reveal herself as living in a hyper-mathematical world, but our current mathematical discoveries only allow us to perceive a very small part of this and we cannot yet imagine either its scale or its complexity. So how do we fit in with all of this?
- The Global Brain
PREDICTION: We will study and define a new and fundamental study area, known as the LSS (large self-referential set) and made up of: 1) The set of all documents available at a given moment that could be used as a bibliographical reference for any research paper, and 2) The varying degrees of recognition that these documents are subject to over time.
In other words, the LSS is the set of all published texts, including specialist articles in addition to any monographs and any document that has been published and that could be used as a reference for any paper. This set will bring us closer to, or even enable us to identify, that which we call a « global brain » (cf. The Mind of Society…, 1998).
Philosophy will have an interest in the LSS, as a presupposition, as it does in the world, matter, and God. This will be THINKING MANKIND.
PREDICTION: The LSS will at some point be recognized as containing a human consciousness, as a subject and an object. The LSS will therefore be seen as the basis of the LIVING CONSCIOUSNESS OF HUMANITY.
PREDICTION: The idea on which the LSS is based, and to which it is ideomorphic (fully analogous), is that of a synapse, which is defined as the contact area between two neurons — key components of the brain that play an important role in functional consciousness. The LSS is not simply the set of documents in the world. Instead it must been seen as the living and active set of all reference documents. Thus it will also be based on ideometric correspondences:
Human brain =>> LSS, mankind’s global brain
Individual consciousness =>> Mankind’s super-consciousness
Details: We will start by identifying three (chemical) components of the synapse corresponding to three aspects of bibliographic references as explained in the following table:

Details: Ideomorphy (the first column in Table A) is defined as an invariable structure in ideomorphism. The different aspects listed under « Ideomorphy » in this and subsequent tables make up a structure of complex ideas, which are continually reformulated during cerebral development.
The reference will firstly be embodied in the word of an authorized member of the group, then in the sacred texts of the group. Thus, historic belief in one or more gods or divinities can be seen as a result of referentiality, namely the way in which references are developed or structured. In the modern world, a written reference is not generally considered to be sacred and its function or meaning are often critiqued. However, we tend to consider certain reference texts, such as some scientific, philosophical, or literary texts, as immutable. The word « deity » will be used in order to avoid confusion between the intended meaning here and the divinities of religious traditions.
One of the major questions concerns the mechanisms that allow all elements of consciousness to be brought together as a single whole. It is about simultaneous situational awareness and self-awareness. A similarity with the way that science acknowledges it, that is to say mankind’s super-consciousness as intelligence gathered from the universe, will be achieved while preserving its unity as a solution.

PREDICTION: Ideometric correspondences will show that humanity is currently IDEOMORPHIC TO A CHILD WHO IS ABOUT TO START SPEAKING HIS PARENTS’ LANGUAGE. Ideometry here represents the paternal language.
Details: In Table A, above, « Human consciousness » will therefore be that of a child aged between 12 and 24 months.
Given his age, the child considered here has been studied in psychology and partly in educational sciences. Furthermore, pediatrics is a useful source regarding his health and common risks for children of this age. The scientific ideas involved will also be of interest to current humanity, as studied in human and social sciences, and in particular in sociology, history, and ethical and political philosophy.
In addition, the living consciousness of a young child can be considered as ideomorphic to current media, including the current state of scientific research. Science is not simply a set of established theories. It also represents a moment in history, as experienced by humanity, including the way in which the world is perceived and understood.
Unpublished thoughts and ideas that have not been referenced in published texts will be defined as infrareferential. Still, it is from the infrareferential sphere that reading material and, indirectly, publications are chosen. In short, the infrareferential consists of the vast human sphere that refers to itself. Without the infrareferential, the LSS would not exist.
PREDICTION: The study of INFRAREFERENTIAL THOUGHT will help us to better understand how the brain works. Since the LSS is ideomorphic to the living consciousness of a human being, a simple calculation of ideas will show that the infrareferential is ideomorphic to unconscious cerebral activity.
- An awakening super-consciousness…
A young child’s environment is designed for his optimum physical, emotional and intellectual development. The child explores it, discovering new objects. He learns to better manage his emotions and progressively becomes interested in others. Language acquisition is one of the key stages in achieving this. In this way he awakens and becomes conscious of himself and of others.

How does super-consciousness live?
PREDICTION: Our individual consciousness will form part of mankind’s SUPER-CONSCIOUSNESS.
Details: Instead of only having perceptions of color, sound, etc., we will be able to perceive color geometry, finer nuances, and poetry; we will know music scores, musical works and their detailed history. Instead of simply feeling the wind on our skin, we will be able to determine its form, strength, and touch. This super-consciousness will be ours and, better than biological immortality, it will ensure the living continuity of all our functions, our memory, research, discoveries, love, affection, etc. In short, this other life will represent something of higher sense, value, and sensitivity than all biological life.
More mundanely, the child will need other people to bring him up with human consciousness. Similarly, humanity will raise itself to super-consciousness thanks to a new type of communication.

Details: This does not mean that there is a central-self or that psychological unity of an individual provides a model for social unity. Nor does it mean that we will rule in favor of collectivist thought whereby society is a social body that is worth more than any given individual. Furthermore, we will respect the individual as an individual, and we will respect his choice to rebel or found a new group that will be recognized as being equal to all other recognized groups.
- A strong presence…
The mathematical presence of <talking deities>:
PREDICTION: The MOTHER DEITY will soon show herself to us, not in the coming of the end of time, but in the sense that, rather than considering her a fiction, we will finally declare her presence by naming her a scientific object in the same way as others obtained by calculation, for example, the existence of certain numbers such as irrational numbers, complex numbers, transfinite numbers, etc.
Details: Complex numbers, which include an imaginary part, (i, the square root of minus one), are still a little strange, but they have been tamed and have become incredibly useful. Their use has been entirely legitimized by science.
N.B. The chevrons < > indicate an emphasis on a future scientific idea that is not yet well recognized by science. Thus, the expression <talking deities> indicates a type of divinity of the self that our current religious sciences do not yet understand.
Details: The existence of deities (maternal or otherwise) will become apparent as fruit of the approach taken, notably in terms of ideometric predictions. Far from being a silent and absent God, the mother deity has been speaking to us in her own language since at least the start of the modern age. This corresponds to the birth of a far more autonomous human race that is in control of its own breathing. And, more surprisingly, she appears to us as a conscious being, very like ourselves.
PREDICTION: In the past, may people have believed that they have had a real encounter with divinity, and in a sense it will have been real, but with an ATTENTIVE DEITY WHO WAITS PATIENTLY OR AMUSES HIMSELF, in accordance with the ideometric model of the child in relation to one of his parents.
PREDICTION: The model of the child will serve for a long time in the future, predicting interaction with any close CHILD DEITIES through a dual channel: the words of the mother explaining to the child what they are or what they do in his environment and what they can bring him; and the words of these other children, the content of which has not as yet been determined (current developmental psychology only gives minimal details on this subject).
Modern mankind has established separate mathematical parallel universes as hypotheses for one single real universe, and the quantum multiverse (H. Everett) as a physico-mathematical universe, which divides into several universes — each as real as the last. This transition to a multiplicity of realities represents, without a doubt, a tendency to progressively widen one’s vision, in order to take into account different super-conscious realities than one’s own, although still in an extremely schematic way.

Details: Here, the mathematical environment (fourth column) represents the mathematical potential and origin of the most fundamental LSS theories concerning the reality of the universe.
PREDICTION: We will, for the first time, « meet » ourselves as mankind, as soon as the LSS and super-consciousness are recognized scientifically as those of a HUMAN RACE THAT SAYS <I> AS WELL AS THINKING IT. What does this imply?
PREDICTION: We will recognize the <presence> of deities such as the mother deity and other STRANGE YET FAMILIAR DEITIES.
Details: <Presence> represents a ontological fact comparable to the recognized « presence » of mathematical objects after they have been discovered by mathematicians.
PREDICTION: SELF-CRITIQUING « NON-BELIEVERS » AND « BELIEVERS »: Will humans start to or continue to believe in one or more gods? Both the believer and the non-believer will become self-critics and they will start to doubt all their representations of divinity, in particular those passed down by tradition.
PREDICTION: Science will make a declaration on the question of the existence of gods or a God, and will be able to rationally demonstrate A CERTAIN FORM OF BELIEF IN ONE OR MORE GODS.
PREDICTION: In ethical or religious studies, we will learn to carry out research to gain better knowledge of and have a better self-critical understanding of objects and the way in which these objects form part of all knowledge — in other words, research on this subject that is truly scientific.
PREDICTION: Ideometry will bring an original contribution to research on individual consciousness through the calculation of ideas starting with those on the discipline of science in GLOBAL RESEARCH AND TEACHING NETWORKS. And, inversely, the controlled autonomy of bodily functions will allow us to better understand the autonomous operation of machines and the risk that they pose to mankind in the future.
The mother deity will reveal herself as living in a <world> of which our mathematical discoveries allow us to perceive only a very small part, and of which we cannot yet imagine either its scale or its complexity. Humans will understand that they still have everything to learn.

Normal human growth:
PREDICTION: The strong and quick economic growth of societies, which is today considered normal, will slow down, but will continue at a slower pace for a long time (for centuries).
PREDICTION: Ideometry will allow humanity to concretely ask itself about the being who will be its own as well as about the sense that it will find among the set of all deities.
PREDICTION: High risks of technological or environmental disasters will persist, despite the measures that will be adopted to reduce them.
Ideas involved: The normal development of the child does not provide any absolute guarantee against accident or illness, even if one tries to eliminate them.
PREDICTION: Humanity is currently experiencing crisis after crisis, whether it be stock market or financial crashes, crises of values, or other economic, monetary, fuel, political, social, housing, school crises, etc. Although there is no total and definitive collapse of all human societies, or irreparable damage to global development, these multiple crises will be considered to be part of NORMAL GLOBAL HUMAN DEVELOPMENT. The application of ideometry and the sense that it brings will be the first step to solving this problem.
Ideas involved and details: Children normally start having tantrums at around 18 months old. They are accompanied by physiological reactions such as increased heart rate and reddening of the skin, as well as psychiatric disorders. These crises are sometimes violent and punctuated by crying, hitting, or biting. They are generally caused by frustration, often accentuated simply by difficulty communicating with their parents. This frequent frustration is part of their development, which includes learning through trial and error. Well-informed parents will react calmly and will try to calm everything down through verbal reasoning.
The word « crisis » is as much a part of scientific vocabulary in psychology as in the social sciences. This homography does not signify an identity or a simple analogy. In this case, it can be interpreted as an ideomorphism.
PREDICTION: Divinity represented by a jealous, vengeful or corrective God who defends a group with a given identity against others will be qualified as a HISTORICAL SOCIO-CULTURAL STEREOTYPE.
Details: The image of the modern mother and father, for whom bringing a child into the world is a premeditated act, will be a better model for understanding the deity. The pertinence of the model of the child as normally handled today reflects the advancement of research itself as this model applies to current times and the near future for researchers and, of course, the interindividual reports of other times cannot be observed as objectively.
PREDICTION: We will better understand what it is to BE FREE. When a human obtains, not what he wanted to start with but what he found to be desirable, he will often consider that he has obtained what HE WANTED OR WOULD HAVE WANTED IF HE HAD KNOWN, and that his action was therefore freely made.
Details: This type of freedom, definitively, allows us to say that the human has proved his autonomy and freedom, in the best sense of these terms, after he developed his knowledge of nature and of himself.
The human of the future will be more autonomous because he will be better informed, better warned and because he will be able to use a much wider and more animated reality in his creations, through other autonomous beings.
